In 1981, Analytical & Pathological laboratories in India were depending on irregular sources of imported laboratory chemicals like Stains, pH Indicators & Reagents which were available in small packings for testing.

In such a situation, we pioneered the manufacture for the above products locally. We started our production on a laboratory scale keeping the Indian market as our target, under the trade name GSP.

Initially the products were marketed in standard packings of 5, 25, 100, 500 gms bottle which were packed in waterproof, heat shrinkable PVC packing.

In early 90's, we found good opportunities to introduce our products in global market. In year 1994 we commenced production at a new plant, having the capacity of 2000 to 2500 kgs per month under the name of M/s. Esjay Chemicals, situated in Chemical Zone at Tarapur industrial Area. We increased the range of products covering most of the Blood stains & pH indicators. Before going to production we have taken utmost care to put system of primary neutralisation of effluent & then sending it to common effluent treatment plant situated in our area for final treatment and disposal.

To achieve the International quality standard for our products, we have setup full-fledged testing Laboratory. Our unit believes in catering the needs of International quality products by using the latest techniques of testing for coloured products. The analytical testing is done by Computerised UV-VIS Spectrophotometer showing the purity by colour absorbance method.

The pH Indicators have the significant properties showing the different colours at different pH values, these products are also called magic colours. For this reason recently these indicators are used as magic colours in liquid soaps and detergents widely, and also used in consumer products for home appliances.

The range of products manufactured by us presently are being exported to foreign countries through merchant exporters. We now take this opportunity to offer these products for export directly.
